Mrs. Talaiom Rashid Jbara is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics, Damascus University, Business Administration Division. After that, she also obtained a specialization in an educational qualification diploma from the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus. She then obtained a specialization certificate in health systems management from the Ministry of Health in the Syrian Arab Republic, in cooperation with the University of Liverpool and the World Health Organization. She holds a national trainer certificate from the Ministry of Administrative Development in the Syrian Arab Republic. Mrs. Talayem Rashid Jbara has been working for 26 years in the Ministry of Health in the Syrian Arab Republic. She has held many administrative positions in various fields, where she worked in her first years as head of the computer department and quality control in health financial affairs and within the national health accounts team. After that, she worked as head of the audit department, and then changed. Her professional path was to work as a certified national trainer at the Center for Strategic Health Studies and a counterpart to the European expert in the Department of Health Economics. She headed this scientific department and was part of the Educational Board Council for students of the Master’s in Health Economics and Health Systems Management. After that, she assumed the position of Director of Human Resources and Head of the Administrative Development Unit in the Ministry of Health to return to follow up. After that, she pursued her professional career at the Center for Strategic Health Studies as Assistant Director of the Center and Head of the Health Consultation and Research Department, to work on training health workers in various short-term courses on all of these previously mentioned topics, whether health quality management, health economics, hospital management, or crisis management, and then prove her competence in The training sector and training of health trainers in all Syrian governorates and beyond, and since last year 2023, she has assumed an important administrative position, which is Director of Planning and International Cooperation, which she still manages until now. She has worked passionately in all fields and tasks that were assigned to her by senior management. To become one of the decision makers and health policy makers in the stage of transformation, recovery, and early recovery that the current health situation in Syria is going through today, and she is with us in the Arab Council for Recovery and in the organizing committee of the conference in its first and second years.
