Dr. Ibrahim Fawzy graduated from National Medical University with honours. He completed his Residency and Fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital of Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. Named the Chief Resident at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and was also selected as the recipient of the Distinguish Alpha Omega Alpha Award at NYPH-WCMC in 2007.
On completion of his training, Ibrahim joined the critical care team at Hamad General Hospital and WCMC-Q, where he became the Director for medical critical care division. Furthermore, Ibrahim was elected to be the Corporate Director for Critical Care, currently Dr. Fawzy is the Medical Director of Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attyiah Hospital.
Dr. Ibrahim’s area of expertise is severe respiratory failure, ECMO and critical care transport, he is an associate professor at Weill Cornell Medical College.
