Dr. Farah Thabet is a distinguished pediatrician with extensive training and experience in critical care. She completed her Tunisian pediatric board certification in 1999 and pursued fellowships in Neonatal Critical Care Medicine at Nancy, France, in 2002, and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Bicetre, France, in 2008. Additionally, she holds a University Diploma from the College of Medicine, Hospitals of Paris, France. Dr. Thabet is certified as a BLS, PALS, and PFCC provider and instructor.
Currently an Associate Professor at the University School of Medicine, Monastir, Tunisia, she oversees the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Monastir University Hospital. Dr. Thabet has previously served as a Consultant Pediatric Intensivist and Head of the Pediatric Respiratory Care Service at Riyadh Military Hospital, Saudi Arabia, and as a Consultant Pediatric Intensivist in charge of PICU at Al-Hada Military Hospital, Taif, Saudi Arabia.
She is an active Board Member of the Tunisian Pediatric Society and participates in the WFPICCS Research and Education Committees. Dr. Thabet has delivered numerous presentations at international pediatric and pediatric critical care congresses and is the author of over 50 research papers indexed in PubMed.
