1st ArRC Scientific Conference 2023 Recommendations
Recommendations:
- Creation of a lead agency in each country for strategic oversight of preparedness, response, management and research for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
- Development of community response models.
- Legislation of equivalents to the so-called good Samaritan law.
- Implementation of public health initiatives to reduce cardiac risk factors.
- Coordination of public information campaigns on recognition and management of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, including early access to emergency medical services and early cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Improvement in access to automated external defibrillators in high-risk locations and creation of national automated external defibrillator registries.
- Establishment and maintenance of registries of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in each country in the Arab world which align with international conventions.

- Implement Dispatcher-Assisted CPR with Ongoing Training & QI
- Implement High-performance CPR with Ongoing Training & QI
- Implement Rapid Dispatch
- Voice Record All Attempted Resuscitations
- Begin or Expand a Program in Police Defibrillation & EMS
- Establish a Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) Program
- Supplement Funding & Support Training & QI
- Institute Hypothermia in All Receiving Hospitals
- Work Toward a Culture of Excellence
